The ability to create teams through the mobile app is free and available to all, while league-managed teams require an HQ Premium subscription to SportsEngine's league and website management tools.
Teams created through the mobile app are not connected to a league or organization and are managed through the app. Teams created using the app allow the creator to easily manage and delete teams without using a SportsEngine website. Teams created in-app feature the following capabilities:
Player and Staff Rostering
Game and Event Scheduling, RSVPs
Team Chat/ Sharing Photos
HQ Premium's league-managed teams are created using SportsEngine’s league and website management tools. In addition to in-app team management, league-managed teams have a team page accessible through a web browser.
