Team Chats are real-time conversations among the team. Chats are also Push Notifications. Unlike text messages, which go through a mobile carrier, push notifications are sent/received by your phone's operating system.

Messages are longer form messages similar to emails. In addition to sending and receiving messages within the app, Messages will also send an email and/or text to any user who has opted in to receive these notifications.
